At Everence, we believe in the power of working together to help each other grow and succeed on our life journeys. One way we do that is through our grants, scholarships and awards programs.

Grants with a purpose
Each and every day, all of us interact with one another. In big and small ways, our lives impact everyone we come into contact with – whether we realize it or not.
Our members believe that. And we do, too. That's why we provide grant programs, as a way for our members to be part of building local communities of stewardship in their own backyards.
Safe church grant
Everence supports churches in protecting children, teens and vulnerable individuals with its Safe Church Grant.

Each year, we partner with congregations across the country to help thousands of families through our Everence Sharing Fund Program. These grants help meet the needs of individuals in your church and local community.

We also provide funds for regional Everence chapters to help a variety of projects and programs, like:
A college scholarship for you or your children is one of the potential benefits of doing business with Everence®.
Here's how it works:
Regional scholarships of $1,000 are awarded by the student's local Everence office.
From the regional winners, Everence awards three national scholarships – one of $2,000 and two of $1,000. This means the top three recipients will receive scholarships totaling $3,000 or $2,000.
We are no longer accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. Check back in the fall for the scholarship application for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their:
Leadership activities and honors, awards or recognitions received.
Community, extracurricular, employment and other activities.
Written essay on a relevant topic chosen by Everence.
To be eligible:
Students, their parents or a legal guardian must own or be using an Everence product.
Current high school seniors, current
college students, and those going to
college after a break from academics
are welcome to apply.
Students must have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0-point scale.
The student must remain enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) throughout the 2023-2024 academic year in an accredited two or four-year undergraduate or trade school program in the United States.
Students must submit a completed scholarship application – with all appropriate documentation.

College scholarships: Additional details
Applications are accepted from Jan. 1 through Feb. 28 for the upcoming academic year.
Scholarships are good only for the year issued and are not transferable to the next year. Students may reapply each year they are enrolled in undergraduate studies.
Regional scholarship winners will be notified after April 29. National winners will be notified by June 12.
Scholarship funds are made payable to the school or college and distributed by July 25.
Scholarship funds may be used to pay tuition or book costs and related course fees.

Everence members can receive partial reimbursement for the cost of preparing their will or other end-of-life/legacy plan.
Role Models
Journey Award
Do you know someone who is a role model when it comes to being a responsible steward of his or her gifts and resources – including time, talent, money, health and the earth? Then nominate them for an annual Everence Journey Award!
Recognizing stewardship
Journey Award recipients receive a combination award gift:
A donation to a nonprofit organization of their choice – $5,000 for national award recipients and $1,000 for regional.
A "blessing cup" – symbolizing how Journey Award recipients are like vessels that hold and nurture resources for God's work during their stewardship journeys.
