Online Banking
Haven't set up Online Banking yet? Get started today! Or if you already have an Online Banking account, login here.
You can review these instructions to login to your existing Online Banking account. Once that is set up, then you'll want to enroll in e-statements. Finally, enroll in electronic bill payment.
Log on
Your username is your credit union account number. Your password is assigned to you by Everence Federal Credit Union. To secure your password, call one of our offices or (800) 451-5719. For security reasons, we cannot assign passwords via e-mail.
Lockouts
If you get locked out of Online Banking, call one of our offices or (800) 451-5719. Lockouts generally occur when you attempt to access the system unsuccessfully three times in succession.
Viewing accounts
You have three options for viewing account balances in the system:
- Overview. This view lists all your accounts and their balances. You can change the order in which they appear by clicking at the top of any column on the screen.
- Detail. You can choose to view any of your accounts in more detail with this button, or you can click on any account on the overview screen to do the same.
- History. With this screen, you can change the activity range to include current month details, activity for a certain number of days, or history for a date range that you choose.
Downloads
Downloads into Microsoft Money, QuickBooks and Quicken are available from the accounts screen.
Check images
From the accounts screen you can view selected checks by clicking on the check number. If you want to print a copy of both the front and back of a check, right click on the check number at the top of the screen and then hit "print." If you want just the front or the back, right click on the appropriate part of the image and then hit "print." There is no fee for viewing or printing check images from the accounts screen.
Note, however, that the system only has check images available for one year. If you need a photocopy of an early check, call (800) 451-5719.
Transfer between accounts
You can make transfers between your various accounts, using the "enter transfer" button. These transfers will occur immediately. You can view past transfers through the "transfer activity" option. You can also set up "recurring transfers"—ones that happen automatically at certain periods of time.
Transfers to other members' accounts
You can also transfer money to accounts of other Everence Federal Credit Union members; however, that member must also be using Online Banking (if not, use the "messaging" section to send a secure transfer request to our staff).
You make a transfer to another member’s account by creating an "external account" from the transfer screen. You need to know that member's account number, the suffix number of his/her sub-account or loan, and his/her last name.
When you choose the account number, make sure you enter it in an account-suffix format (the same format that shows up on your accounts overview screen). For example, if you are transferring to account 1234's share savings suffix S0, you will need to enter 1234-S0 as the account number.
Once you create an external account, you can transfer to that member's account by just selecting the account from your "to account" drop down on the "enter transfer" screen.
Stop payments
This section of the Online Banking screen allows you to initiate your own stop payments on checks as well as view stop payments you have made that are still being processed. Be aware that there is a fee (view fee schedule) for each stop payment you make.
Messaging
You can send secure messages to Everence Federal Credit Union through this section. Think of it as an email link directly to the credit union. This is also where you can request transfers from your account to those of another member not using Online Banking. Also, watch this section for important messages from Everence Federal Credit Union on a periodic basis.
Administration
Use this section to change your password for accessing your account. You may also change the name of the account as it appears in the accounts overview screen; this does not change the name of the account in the credit union's system, however.
Customer service
This section gives you the contact information for our various offices. It also contains a link for reordering checks. And there is a link for making address changes, saving you the need to contact one of our offices to do so.
Log off
It's a good habit to always use this button when you are finished with an Online Banking session. This is particularly true if you are using a public computer. Otherwise, unauthorized persons could potentially access your account information.
