Global organizations receive donations
Everence Federal Credit Union awards grants to charities
Everence Federal Credit Union donated $13,300 from its Rebate for Missions program to the global agencies of Mennonite Central Committee and Eastern Mennonite Missions.
Mennonite Central Committee responds around the world to basic human needs – such as water, food and shelter – and works for peace and justice. MCC has workers or financial commitments in more than 50 countries, including the U.S. and Canada.
Eastern Mennonite Missions is an Anabaptist mission agency that partners with an international network of churches and regional mission centers on six continents to support discipleship, church planting, leadership training, community development, medical ministries, peace and justice work, and humanitarian aid.
When people use a Visa card from Everence Federal Credit Union, they also help people in need. The credit union tithes to church and mission work 10 percent of the income generated from merchants through the use of Visa cards. In addition to the amount awarded to the global organizations, a portion is donated to local community charities through the credit union branch offices.
Since the Rebate for Missions program began in 1995, Everence Federal Credit Union has provided more than $300,000 in grants.
Everence offers banking products that are federally insured by the NCUA. We also offer securities and other products that are not federally insured and are subject to the loss of principal. All products not available in all states.
