Meet the Praxis investment team

Praxis Mutual Funds offers an array of investment options from stocks to bonds, domestic to foreign stocks, small companies to large companies, and growth to value funds. All of the Praxis Mutual Funds are managed by experienced portfolio managers, who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Funds’ portfolios.

Praxis Impact Bond Fund 

Benjamin J. Bailey, CFA®

Ben Bailey

Benjamin Bailey joined Everence in 2000 and was named co-portfolio manager of the Praxis Impact Bond Fund in March 2005, and co-manager of the Praxis Genesis Portfolios in June 2013. Before then, he served as assistant portfolio manager for the fund and as an investment services support assistant and a fixed income research analyst. Benjamin is a 2000 graduate of Huntington College in business-economics. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2003.

Delmar King

Delmar King

Delmar King has managed the Praxis Impact Bond Fund since its 1994 inception, and named co-manager of the Praxis Genesis Portfolios in June 2013. He has more than 30 years of investment experience with Everence, where he has investment responsibilities for other Everence entities and individual clients. Delmar is a graduate in economics from Goshen (Indiana) College and earned his master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University. Delmar also serves on the Investment Committee of the Elkhart County (Indiana) Community Foundation.

Dale Snyder, CFA®

Dale Synder

Dale Snyder has been portfolio manager of the Praxis Value Index Fund and the Praxis Growth Index Fund since June 17, 2013, and added the Praxis Small Cap Index Fund (formerly named Praxis Small Cap Fund) Jan. 1, 2017. He joined Everence in 1999 as an equity analyst. Dale has served as a research analyst for the Praxis Impact Bond Fund and assistant portfolio manager for both fixed income and equity separately managed portfolios. He holds a bachelor of arts in business (minor in economics) from Goshen College (Indiana) and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. Dale is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.


Praxis International Index Fund

Ran Leshem

Ran Leshem

Ran Leshem serves as Aperio Group's head of portfolio management and operations, and has extensive expertise in applying quantitative techniques and information technology to operational problems. Prior to joining Aperio, Ran was manager of operating strategy at the GAP, Inc., where he managed the development of a retail sales forecasting system utilizing clustering and data mining algorithms to predict sales at the store level based on historical data. Ran received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Canada, where he received the Hewlett Packard Award for academic excellence. He earned his MBA from University of California, Berkeley.

Patrick Geddes

Patrick Geddes

Patrick Geddes is Aperio Group's chief investment officer and director of quantitative research. Prior to joining Aperio, Patrick was the chief financial officer of Morningstar, Inc., and served on the company's executive committee, overseeing all strategic, policy and internal investment decisions. Prior to being named CFO, Patrick was Morningstar's director of quantitative research. Patrick received his MBA, with Honors, from the University of Chicago, and has taught numerous courses in graduate-level finance at the University of California Berkeley Extension.

About Aperio Group, LLC

Founded in 1999, Aperio Group focuses solely on index investing, creating and managing customized portfolios for select clients. They began managing the Praxis International Index Fund in January 2011 at the Fund’s inception.
