Teresa Boshart Yoder serves as the Managing Director for the Everence® team of consultants and representatives in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She is passionate about helping individuals, organizations and congregations their financial stewardship and charitable planning needs in ways that align with their faith and values.
Before joining Everence, Teresa served for 24 years with Sentara RMH Healthcare in Harrisonburg, most recently as Director of Women’s Services. During her tenure there, she led the growth of the organization’s Women’s Service Line, developed and set-up their Breast Health Center, and successfully developed Sentara’s capital campaign and construction project for the Funkhouser Women’s Center. Prior to her time at Sentara, Teresa worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, for 11 years.
A native of Kalona, Iowa, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She and her husband, Lonnie, reside in Harrisonburg and have two adult daughters, Shannon Roth (Brandon) and Nicole Yoder. She also has two grandchildren who take up her free time. Teresa serves as Board Chair for Collins Center, a local not-for-profit child advocacy center and sexual assault services organization. In addition, Teresa serves in many roles at Community Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg, including chairing the congregation’s building committee.
