Nonprofit, education and church leaders are invited to nurture generosity

Helping leaders of churches and charitable organizations stimulate and nurture generosity to strengthen their missions is what the Everence® Development Conference is all about.

Registration recently opened for the conference, Embracing new horizons, scheduled Oct. 8-10 at Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Register now at: everence.com/devcon19. The event is offered every two years.

More than 20 workshops will feature information helpful to fundraising executives and senior leaders, church leaders and pastors, or anyone interested in nurturing generosity to invigorate their organizations’ missions. Mennonite Schools Council is partnering with Everence to hold its Education Leaders Gathering as part of the conference.

Speakers will include Joseph Manickam, Ph.D., president of Hesston College; Penelope Burk, president of Cygnus Applied Research and author of Donor-Centered Fundraising and Donor-Centered Leadership; and Ted Swartz, founder and leader of Ted & Co.

Topics will include philanthropic trends; organizational leadership and board development; insights on church giving; and how to build, increase and sustain donor relationships.

Register before the early-bird deadline, July 15, and find more information on our Development Conference webpage. All registration will take place online.
