What did you do during your internship at Everence?

During my summer internship, I worked with both the credit union and with the asset management teams in the Everence office in Harrisonburg. This included a wide variety of duties ranging from scanning documents, answering phones, shadowing advisors and sitting in on client meetings. I also helped prepare for an upcoming audit by assisting with paperwork and file management.

What did you like most about your internship?

I really enjoyed getting to know the Everence staff and team, and the opportunity I had to learn from them.

What is the most valuable thing you learned throughout your internship?

I had the opportunity to see how important relationships are between clients and staff, especially at a company like Everence. This made a lasting impression on me and has given me experience I can carry into my next job.
