What did you do doing your internship?
Everence has its own family of mutual funds and, during my internship, I worked with the Investment Services team to explore the impact of Values and Environmental, Social and Governance screens on those funds. I also researched companies for potential future investments.
What did you like most about your internship?
I had the opportunity to work with great people who made my internship really enjoyable. I’m also a "numbers guy," and I had the chance to analyze data to help figure out what kind of story it might tell, which was a lot of fun for me.
What is the most valuable thing you learned throughout your internship?
I enjoyed working in a different industry – it was my first job in the financial services industry, which made it a very valuable experience. I learned that your values can play a huge role in your work, and I think Everence does a great job at emphasizing that.
