What are you doing in your internship?
I have mainly been working on two different projects. One project has been looking through the financial statements of Everence's different products and services and analyzing trends that I see, to help decide what direction we should be taking in the future to improve some of these numbers. The other project has been working on our returned mail. This project has involved sorting through the mail returned to us by clients and evaluating if we should try to send more mail to them in the future. From there, I update client's information so that, in the future, we are sending mail to people's correct address.
What have you liked the most about your internship?
I have liked how great the company culture is. Everence's culture is friendly and supportive, and I really like that I have been treated with respect by everyone that I have interacted and worked with. I have felt very welcomed here.
What is the most valuable thing you’ve learned through your internship?
I have learned my internship is a great opportunity to try new things and apply what I have been learning in my college classes into a professional setting. Also, it has been great learning more about Everence and how the company brings finance and faith together.
