Giving Tuesday 2022
On Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, #GivingTuesday419 took place at Founder’s Hall at Sauder Village. Presented by Everence Financial®, this night was filled with generosity and support of local and global charities.
At the event, the over 260 attendees had the opportunity to hear from 10 Difference Makers about their work in the community and upcoming projects.
Before the end of the evening, over $1,495,980 was raised for local and global charities, which included $350,000 in matching funds that that are prorated to help gifts stretch further.
Through five years of #GivingTuesday419, the community raised $8,025,980 for non-profit organizations.
“When the idea for #GivingTuesday419 came to fruition, it could have stopped there but with the support of Everence, the #GivingTuesday419 Advisory Board, and the community, it turned into something bigger than anyone could have imagined,” said Shari Beck, CFP®, Everence Financial Consultant.

The purpose of Helping Hands Unlimited is to glorify God in worldwide partnerships by ministering spiritually, physically, socially, and educationally to those in need in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to share Hope, Healing & Restoration with brokenhearted women by connecting each one with the heart of God through Christ-centered care and services.
The LifeWise Academy mission is “to positively impact students, schools and communities by providing a Bible-based Character-focused Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) program.”
Sara’s Garden provides clients with specialized, comprehensive Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Autism Intervention, Conductive Education, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration and Speech-Language Pathology services. Through these services, we have been able to help children and adults with disabilities and conditions develop, grow, and achieve greater independence than their families were told was possible.
Sufficient Grace Ministries for Women provides perinatal hospice and bereavement support and resources to families facing a life-limiting diagnosis in pregnancy as well as parents facing the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. Compassionate, parent-centered, CEU-approved training is offered to medical professionals as well. Our mission is to provide exemplary support for grieving families and to train medical professionals and others to offer that same compassionate care.
Triangular Processing, Inc. (TP) will empower people through person centered planning, choice and opportunity.
