At our 2018 and 2019 Giving Tuesday events, we highlighted Difference Makers in our community. This year, we are highlighting these organizations again and sharing updates of where they are now!
Adriel is committed to providing safe and loving homes for children in need. Support from our community empowers Adriel to be a premier provider of exceptional care. Your donation supports foster families in providing nurturing homes, enables Adriel to offer activities to promote normalcy for children in foster care, and helps to rehabilitate biological families.
With donations from Giving Tuesday, we plan to partner with Fulton County Christmas Cheer and give a crock pot and cookbook to each family that comes to the pantry in December. We also want to make improvements to our facility to make it even more comfortable and accessible for our elderly and disabled clients.

The mission of Children’s Lantern is to prevent human trafficking, addiction, and homelessness by eliminating situations that make life unnecessarily difficult for foster parents, social workers and aged out foster youth. We can only do this through your financial involvement in the important work of child welfare.
Crisis Pregnancy Center is a Christian social service agency offering free, holistic (physical, emotional, and spiritual) services to those facing unplanned and/or unwanted pregnancy. We provide free limited obstetrical ultrasounds, parenting classes, material assistance, STI testing, and advocate sexual risk avoidance through optimal health education. Community support ensures we may continue offering help, hope and healing to those who may have nowhere else to turn.
We value the importance of consistency in relationships. This consistency is formed by volunteers going into the community the first Saturday of every month. And as a result of the trust developed, we are able to understand the overall needs. We then tie resources and funds to directly meet these needs. Over the next year, with the proper funding, we are planning to continue what we are doing, expand workforce development while building a mobile classroom, and establishing a much needed dental clinic.
Why FCA? We’re living in a time where our nation, especially our students, are STRUGGLING! They’ve been isolated, discouraged, and surrounded by divisive times. The emotions of fear and anxiety, loom over our nation, and our students are experiencing the fallout of these emotions. The ministry of FCA and its life changing message is more crucial than ever before.
Fulton County Humane Society operates with no salaries and no employees. We rely on the generosity of community donations and the animal adoption fees to take care of the homeless, injured and sick animals in Fulton county.
Growing Hope Farm is designed to be self-sustaining and eliminate the need for government funding.
Individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities are provided opportunities to learn critical life skills through farming-based activities.

Sufficient Grace Ministries offers perinatal hospice and bereavement support and resources to over 1,000 families facing the loss of a baby, both locally and worldwide, free of charge. One in four expectant mothers will experience the loss of a baby. Without parent-centered support, grieving families suffer in silence. Help us change their stories from painful regret to comfort and hope.
Sunshine has adapted in how we support our mission, but certainly not the why. Technology has proven to be the safest way to connect our community. Although, nothing can replace personal connection, we continue to find ways to bring joy and interaction to families. Our goal to raise $282,950 will boost technological infrastructure. Youth For Christ reaches young people in NW Ohio by going where they are. We build God-honoring relationships with students on campuses, in detention facilities, coffee shops, and anywhere else kids can be found.
