Chan Gingerich, LUTCF, CLTC is an Everence® Financial Representative in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is a health insurance specialist with expertise in insurance and group benefits for individuals, families, and businesses. Chan joined Everence in 2000, and uses his experience in the insurance industry to help clients evaluate options in health insurance (individual and group), Medicare supplement insurance options, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance.
Chan earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) professional designation in December 2006. The LUTCF designation marks an agent’s long-term commitment to professionalism on behalf of clients, establishes the agent’s competence and business experience, marks a commitment to The American College’s and NAIFA’s Code of Ethics, and fosters additional professional development. In addition, Chan holds the Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC), which focuses on the discipline of extended care planning. It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client's family and finances. The CLTC designation has been recognized and supported by The American College, NAIFA and major insurance carriers.
Chan has served as a board member of Harrisonburg Gift & Thrift, Inc. and the Patchwork Pantry and is currently a board member of Bike Shenandoah. He, his wife, Kelly, and three children attend Grace Mennonite Fellowship in Harrisonburg, where Chan previously served as a church elder and church council member.
