R Michael Burton, CFP®

Michael Burton, CFP®, is a Financial Advisor, an Investment Advisor Representative with ProEquities Inc., and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He has served Everence® since 2001, specializing in comprehensive fee-based financial planning, fee-based investment advice and asset management, as well as individual, family, and business insurance consultation.

Michael helps clients organize and simplify their financial lives by helping them make financial choices that reflect their faith and values. He primarily serves people of faith who embrace an understanding of holistic Christian stewardship that acknowledges God's ownership of everything and God's call to wisely manage His resources.

(Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him." NLT)

Michael uses a holistic approach to stewardship planning that recognizes that all areas of our lives -- our time, talents, money, health, and relationships - are interconnected with our faith. Using this approach, he helps people make financial choices that allow them to integrate their finances with their faith in God-honoring ways, freeing them to pursue lives of service and to fulfill their God-given calling and purpose.

Michael is married with three children. He and his family attend Butler Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church in Fresno and are also regular attenders and participants in the ministry of Birch Ridge Community Church in Soldotna, Alaska. Michael enjoys spending time with his family, and finding time to fish and explore the back country of his beloved native Alaska, and to build igloos in the Sierra mountain range of California.
