Award winners honored at Everence National Conference

Recipients recognized for outstanding 2023 performance.

Everence Financial® leaders recently recognized award recipients for their outstanding 2023 performance at the 2024 Everence National Conference, hosted at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa.

Speakers for this year’s conference general sessions included Conflict Strategist Ryan Dunlap, Financial Advisor Coach Libby Greiwe, and Trauma-Coach and Everence employee Teresa Glantz

President and CEO Ken Hochstetler and Senior Vice President Rod Diller presented the awards on April 25, 2024.

Hochstetler honored Rhoda Blough with the President’s Stewardship Award in recognition of her commitment to stewardship in her church, family, community and professional life. Blough is a Stewardship Consultant based in Denver, Co.

“Rhoda has gained a reputation as a relationship builder, devoting significant time and energy on cultivating connections,” said Hochstetler. “…Rhoda’s commitment to stewardship and community routinely goes above and beyond. She truly lives out our mission and vision, building relationships and helping people discover how they can live out their faith and values.”

  • Doug Umble, REBC®, AWMA®, Managing Director in Central Pennsylvania, Commitment to Excellence Award.
  • Customer Engagement Center and Health Member Services teams, Team Impact Award.
  • The National team, directed by Vice President of National Markets Dave Warren, was named the Market Team of the Year.
  • The Souderton team, directed by Managing Director Randy Nyce, was honored with the Market Growth Award for achieving the highest level of growth during 2023.
  • Everence Federal Credit Union on College Ave. in Goshen, Indiana, Credit Union Branch of the Year Award.
  • Ben Sprunger, ChFC®, of the Berne office, Consultant of the Year.
  • Ryan Eakins, of the Michiana team, New Consultant of the Year.
  • Lyle Miller, of the National team, Stewardship Consultant of the Year.
  • R. Michael Burton, CFP®, of Soldotna, Alaska, Everence Financial Planning Award.
  • Elyse Kauffman, MBA, Charitable Consultant in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Everence Charitable Services Award.
  • Matt Smith, Business Development Officer for Everence Federal Credit Union in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Everence Federal Credit Union Loans Award.
  • Christopher Kaufman, Financial Planner in Carlock, Illinois, Brokered Products Sales Award.
  • Shane Landis, CFP®, AWMA®, Financial Consultant in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Everence Annuities Sales Award.
  • Luke Shyposki, Financial Consultant Goshen, Indiana, Everence Senior Health Sales Award.
  • Glen Kauffman, ChFC®, Financial Planner in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Praxis Mutual Fund Sales Award.
  • Sonny Gaby, Financial Consultant in Goshen, Indiana Everence Retirement Services Award.
