What is your background? (Hometown, schools, major, etc.)
I am from Canby, Oregon, and graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a degree in business administration.

What is your role at Everence and where are you located?
My role was sales support intern, in the Harrisonburg office.

How did you find Everence?
I had known about Everence previously because of my Anabaptist background but learned more about the organization through EMU.

What is your day to day like in your internship?
My day-to-day varies a lot by week, but my main role is to join consultants in client meetings, which allows me to learn first-hand, as well as connect with clients.

What is something valuable you've learned through your internship?
Something super valuable I have learned through my internship is the importance of creating genuine, strong relationships with clients regardless of where they may be coming from.

What is something you like to do on the weekends?
On the weekends I love to spend time hiking and backpacking, as well as playing games with friends.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
I also love to try new foods, and my favorite local restaurant is Thai Phanom!

What advice do you have for future interns at Everence?
The advice I would give to future interns is to focus on relationship building, I have been fortunate enough to learn countless things from co-workers and clients alike!
