What is your background? (Hometown, schools, major, etc.)
I am from Goshen, Indiana. I graduated from Northridge High School in Middlebury, Indiana. I am a sprinter on the track and field team at Goshen College and on the way to graduate this spring as a business major.

What is your role at Everence and where are you located?
My role at Everence this Summer is the Retirement Services Intern in Goshen, Indiana.

How did you find Everence?
I found Everence through my previous internship during the 2024-2025 school year as a Peer Financial Coach.

What is your day to day like in your internship?
My day-to-day depends on what project I am working on. Every day is different for me as I have the opportunity to manage multiple projects. I would work a lot with Excel, Access, AS400, OnBase, and Outlook Email.

What is something valuable you've learned through your internship?
Something valuable I have learned is how to present myself professionally both physically and virtually. That was why I pursued this position; to learn and experience what it’s like to be in a professional environment.

What is something you like to do on the weekends?
Throughout this summer I have gone to the gym every weekend to decompress and focus on improving my fitness.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
My favorite local restaurant is Chipotle.

What advice do you have for future interns at Everence?
Talk to as many people as you can. There are a lot of kind people willing to stop for a minute and just chat with you. Also take advantage of the opportunity to learn as much as you can, because your experience here will make the college courses you’ve taken more valuable and finally make sense.
