What is your background? (Hometown, schools, major, etc.)
I was born in Elkhart, Indiana, but I was raised In Mexico –Apan, Hidalgo, specifically. I'm a Goshen College student majoring in IT with a minor in Business.

What is your role at Everence and where are you located?
I'm the IT User Support Intern at the Goshen, Indiana, Branch.

How did you find Everence?
I found Everence on LinkedIn, and a close friend of mine who had an internship at Everence previously recommended working there.

What is your day to day like in your internship?
My day-to-day is pretty much looking at past tickets, and shadowing the full-time employees around me, and looking to learn as much as I can.

What is something valuable you've learned through your internship?
I’ve learned how communication is very important. If you have questions, just ask, it is going to be a very helpful and personal experience.

What is something you like to do on the weekends?
I love going to the gym, getting in the best shape as possible and running as well.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
Miso Japan is so good, if you like sushi I strongly recommend going try it out.

What advice do you have for future interns at Everence?
Ask questions, even if you are sure, and don't be afraid of failure because without it. There's no improvement without it – fail and you will get better each time. Sounds crazy but it’s true. Much love and good luck guys!
