Why did EFCU transition the Mount Joy branch into a new concierge model? 
Everence Federal Credit Union recognizes that more banking transactions are occurring through digital channels. This new model will continue to provide exceptional service to our members and highlight the many ways members can bank online with Everence.

What are your hours? 

  • Deposit-taking ATM (outdoor): 24/7
  • Video banking hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Branch hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with after-hours appointments available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays

What do I do if you are closed? 
The deposit-taking ATM is open 24/7 for transactions like cash deposits, cash withdrawals and check deposits. 

For regular banking needs – like account maintenance and requests for wires, cash advances, official checks, account research, adding sub-accounts, etc. – our video banking room is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and branch staff will be available for appointments.  

For personalized banking needs – like opening a new account, notary services, or applying for a loan – branch staff are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with evening/weekend appointments available.

I have a question related to my account. Can you help me? 
To schedule a meeting with our Member Relations Manager in Mount Joy, call 717-653-2985. You can also call or text our National branch at 800-451-5719. If you use online or mobile banking, you can send us questions via the message center.

I want to open a new account or apply for a consumer or real estate loan. How do I do that? 
We are happy to schedule a meeting with our Member Relations Manager in Mount Joy. You can also use our video banking room in the branch or log on to video banking from your device. You can also fill out the appropriate application form online or download, print, complete and mail back in. 

I want to apply for a business loan. How do I do that?
If you are interested in applying for a business loan, please contact one of our Business Development Officers in Lancaster County. They are happy to help you. 

How do I deposit cash? 
You can deposit cash in a variety of ways including our new deposit-taking ATM, a deposit-taking ATM in our shared branch network, at a shared branch, or at our Lancaster (Lincoln Highway) or Ephrata branches. 

I need to deposit a check. How do I do that? 
You can use our deposit-taking ATM and deposit a check via our video banking room at the branch. You can also use mobile deposit, visit our Lancaster (Lincoln Highway) or Ephrata locations, or visit a shared branch location.

I need to order new checks. How do I do that? 
You can reorder checks by calling Harland Clarke directly (1-800-858-3355) or by visiting everence.com/personal-checking. You are also welcome to call the Mount Joy branch at 717-653-2985 or the National branch at 800-451-5719.

I need to transfer money. How do I do that?
There are many ways you can transfer money. You can visit or call our branch, use the audio teller, or transfer money through online or mobile banking.

I have an unauthorized purchase on my card. How do I dispute that charge? 
For all debit and personal credit card disputes, call 1-866-279-1399. For all business credit card disputes, call 800-600-5249.

I need to change the PIN on my debit card. How do I do that? 
You will need your current PIN to reset your debit card PIN. For debit and personal credit cards, call 1-833-681-3367. For business credit cards, call 866-297-3408. If you don’t have your current PIN, please call the Mount Joy branch at 717-653-2985 or the National branch at 800-451-5719. 

I need to get a replacement card. How do I do that? 
If you need a replacement card, please call our Mount Joy branch at 717-653-2985 or the National branch at 800-451-5719.

Can I still use the night drop? 
The night drop is no longer available. Please deposit any checks or cash via our ATM (located by the previous night drop).

Can I still mail checks into the branch? 
The Mount Joy location unfortunately does not accept checks inside the branch. Please deposit any checks via mobile deposit, Mount Joy’s ATM (located by the previous night drop) or mail them to our Lancaster (Lincoln Highway) or Ephrata branch.

Can I still bring in my rolled coins? 
The Mount Joy location unfortunately can no longer accept coins. However, you can take this to our Lancaster (Lincoln Highway) or Ephrata branch or find the closest shared branching location.

Can I still bring in HSA (Health Savings Account) employer contributions? 
The Mount Joy location does not accept employer contributions. However, you can mail or bring them to our Lancaster (Lincoln Highway) or Ephrata branch.

Can I still ask for an HSA/IRA distribution? 
Yes, you can request an HSA/IRA distribution at the branch and receive a certified check or deposit into your Everence Federal Credit Union account.

I want to close my account because you do not have a regular teller line. 
We’re sorry to hear that. You can still do transactions just like you did before, but in a more convenient manner at Mount Joy. This allows more time for the credit union to focus on deepening and building our relationship with you as our valued member, and to make sure we are fulfilling your everyday banking needs.

Where are your other branches?
We have two other branches in Lancaster County – one in Lancaster (2160 Lincoln Highway East) and one in Ephrata (1021 Sharp Avenue). You can find additional Everence Federal Credit Union locations and shared branches at everence.com/locations.

I am a member of a shared branch. Can I still bank here? 
Shared branch members can use the deposit-taking ATM to deposit checks or cash and withdraw money. For more complex banking needs, please refer to your home credit union.
