Sustainability and green initiatives

We are proud to sponsor Everence Hydration Stations at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair!

For the second year, we're glad to bring free hydration to fair goers! These stations, including some new ones, can be found throughout the fairgrounds. Most include a water bottle filling station as well as water misters.

With the water bottle filling stations, fair guests can bring their own reusable water bottles – or pick one up at the Everence Family Entertainment Center – instead of having to use plastic water bottles, cutting down on waste produced at the fair.

At Everence, we are committed to being good stewards of the earth. We live out this commitment in many different facets of our work.

Through our services, we help our clients and members incorporate these values into their daily lives through our green loans and stewardship investing.

With Everence, you can integrate your faith and finances, and protect the earth while doing so.

We’re also committed to doing our part as an organization to help care for the planet.

For example, our corporate headquarters located in Goshen is a LEED-certified building, meaning it was built and is maintained to the highest standard of sustainability. Surrounding the building is landscaping that emphasizes native plant growth and rainwater retention, including over 170 trees that were added in 2022.
