Created in 2001, the Journey Award highlights what people of faith are doing as stewards of their God-given gifts.

This award recognizes that the Hochstetlers of Hesston, have given significantly of their time and resources throughout their lives. The couple spent time in Africa, South America, and Europe doing mission work and service projects. They not only inspired and nurtured their four children, but also friends. Numerous individuals from the Hesston community are able to credit their success to the couple’s financial support and mentorship.

“Dale and Lucile are truly an inspiration to our community. Their focus on using their gifts to support projects and causes they feel passionate about is worthy of this type of recognition. I am glad that we have the opportunity to honor their many years of quiet generosity,” said Mitch Stutzman, Everence Church Relations and Charitable Services Representative.

The Hochstetlers attend Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston, Kansas.
