Pennsylvania Mennonite Scholarship Organization

State tax credit educational program through the Pennsylvania Mennonite Scholarship Organization (PAMSO) of the Everence Foundation

On May 7, 2001, Pennsylvania made history by becoming the first state to pass an education tax credit aimed at corporations. House Bill 966, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC), provides Pennsylvania companies with a tax credit of 75 percent for the first year and increases to 90 percent if the company commits to making the same donation(s) for two consecutive years to nonprofit scholarship or education improvement organizations.

Businesses wanting more information regarding EITC can apply online at

For business owners looking to support their community and receive tax credits, this program is a win-win situation. It provides an opportunity for parents to choose a quality education program for their children, thereby creating communities with productive citizens.
