Leaders recently benefited from a day of resourcing, networking, and inspiration

Nonprofit leaders in Philadelphia recently benefited from a day of resourcing, networking, and inspiration hosted by Everence®.

It was a one-day development event at Circle of Hope church on Philly’s south side.

Forty-three people attended and heard from outstanding presenters – with a focus on fundraising in urban settings and in communities of color.

Among the speakers and topics:

  • Heather Hulit and Terri Booker of Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia gave a workshop on estate planning.
  • Alyssa Vásquez of Cultured Enuf covered board and fundraising development in the context of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Sidney Hargro, Executive Director of The LeadersTrust, gave the keynote presentation, Radical Compassion for Times Like These

Participants also heard from Leonard Dow and Natalie Balcer from the Everence Philadelphia team.

Everence is able to help nonprofits and their donors with charitable giving plans and tools, so that they can carry out their values and God-given gifts.
