GOSHEN, Indiana – In recognition of its commitment to community, mutual aid and financial stewardship, Everence Financial® has been awarded the 2023 Business as a Force for Good Award from Junior Achievement of Elkhart County (Indiana).

leaders who serve as inspirational role models for young people to succeed in the global economy.

Founded in 1945 in Goshen, Indiana (where the organization is still headquartered), Everence has grown out of a long Christian Anabaptist tradition of individuals, organizations and church communities putting faith into action by sharing resources with each other. Today, Everence serves more than 78,000 members and more than 35 denominations and church networks nationwide, helping clients live out their values through responsible money management and opportunities to give back through the organization’s unique community investing, grant-making and charitable giving programs.

Since 2008 alone, Everence has created an impact of more than $1.1 billion to charitable organizations in Elkhart County, around the country, and around the world, on behalf of Everence members. Additionally, Everence clients and employees across the United States contribute hundreds of hours of their time and talents, volunteering in support of their local communities.

Junior Achievement of Elkhart County established the Business as a Force for Good Award in 2022, to recognize area businesses making a positive impact on the Elkhart County community. Everence was nominated for the award by its peers in the region.
