Everence members help with affordable Christmas project
Members of Everence Financial in Northeast Ohio recently purchased and donated children’s gifts to support the Affordable Christmas project at Lighthouse Ministries in Canton.

Sheila Troyer and Kelly Troyer from Everence Financial (right) drop off gifts to Kelly Klein from Lighthouse Ministries (left) for its “Affordable Christmas” project. The annual project makes it possible for parents of at-risk children to buy gifts for their kids at significantly reduced prices.
In addition to the gifts, Everence (through its local member chapter), contributed $1,000 to Lighthouse Ministries for the project.
This effort capped a year in which Everence members also volunteered to landscape an area outside SpringHaven Counseling Center’s equine assisted counseling arena near Mount Eaton. The local chapter also donated $2,000 for that project.
The donations and volunteer work are part of an Everence chapter grant program that provides assistance to local organizations and causes. The grants are made possible when clients purchase many Everence products.
