Lathanael Olsen will graduate from Liberty University in 2022 with a degree in finance and a minor in accounting. During the summer of 2021, he’s working in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as a Banking Operations Support Intern.
What are you doing in your internship?
I do various tasks to help where I can, but the focus is on the Business Account Cleanup Project.
What have you liked most about your internship?
What I’ve liked the most about my internship is how friendly and inviting everyone is at Everence. Everence is truthfully a family-oriented organization.
What is the most valuable thing you’ve learned through your internship?
One of the most valuable things that I learned is the importance of correct documentation and the types documentation needed for different types of business accounts.
What do you enjoy doing outside of your internship?
Outside of my internship, I enjoy hanging out with friends, lifting weights, hiking, playing sports, motorsports, working on vehicles, building stock portfolios, and fixing things.
What advice would you give other students interested in interning at Everence?
Come eager to learn and experience new things. Be ready to use your people skills as you will likely interact with members frequently. A piece of advice that I would say is don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something or if you would like to learn more about anything.
