Marketing and Sales Support Intern

Emily Hinds
I am a marketing and sales support intern. For my internship, I have been helping increase website engagement by updating website photos and descriptions on the Everence website to allow better search results for individuals. I also am helping organize and prepare for events Everence holds during the summer, such as Youth Savings Week and the Fair. During these two events, I help increase community involvement and assist with making sure everything is running smoothly.
What have you enjoyed most about your internship?
I have enjoyed working alongside other co-workers who care about one another and care about building strong foundational relationships with their clients as well as their other co-workers. I have also enjoyed learning about the company itself, and all the services they provide. Overall, this internship has allowed me to grow and expand my knowledge through the various projects I was assigned.
What is the most valuable thing you've learned through your internship?
I have learned of what a good example of what a work environment looks like. Everence is a great example of a work environment that any individual would want to be a part of through their commit and dedication to not only each other, but to their clients as well.
What do you enjoy doing outside your internship?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, tap dancing, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my dogs and taking them for walks.
What advice would you give to others interested in interning at Everence?
My advice would be to take the internship at Everence if the opportunity presents itself. I guarantee that you will not regret it. This will allow for an enjoyable summer internship alongside other interns that allows for learning and growth.
