About Everence |

Everence belongs to Branch Network with 5,671 physical locations

Everence Federal Credit Union belongs to the CO-OP Shared Branch Network, which recently passed JPMorgan Chase in number of branches nationwide. The credit union cooperative is now the second-largest network of financial institution branches in the country. In total, the network has 5,671 physical locations, less than 500 locations away from passing Wells Fargo, which currently holds the No. 1 spot.

Being a part of the CO-OP Shared Branch Network means that members can enter the branch of any credit union belonging to the Network and conduct business just as if they were in their own home branches. Todd Clark, President/CEO of the CO-OP Financial Services said, “Shared branching is to credit union members what Uber is to passengers looking for a nearby ride.”

This network of credit unions also has nearly 30,000 ATMS, along with over 5,000 shared branch locations that do not charge each other for usage. This gives our members more direct, surcharge-free access than most traditional banks offer.

“It’s the best example of why credit unions are different than banks – they share!” said Clark. This is especially convenient when moving or traveling, but more importantly, this is helpful for our members no matter where life takes them.
