Betsy McCrae, Everence member and former pastor, learned a missional approach to life from her parents. Growing up, the family farmed in Colorado, at times, facing lean years. In their later years, her parents found new ways to use the land and benefit the organizations they care about.
"The land was so valuable at the very end of their lives to give them money to live on... and eventually leave substantial gifts to organizations that they had lifelong supported," said Betsy.
