Financial wellness to enhance your workplace

Everence can help your employees

Business and finance |
Clear sky

Everence® knows employers have plenty of concerns on their minds as they try to keep their organizations working as smoothly as possible.

One important way we can support employers is to help your employees become more financially healthy with our new Workplace Financial Wellness program. This can become part of your employer retirement plan benefit.

Financial stress can weigh people down with worry and anxiety, and the stress over money issues can affect the quality of their work.

The American Society of Employers reports that high levels of financial stress can make employees less productive, as well as increase absenteeism.

What we offer

Everence now offers a range of financial wellness services to employers, including:

  • A financial wellness assessment tool.
  • Onsite seminars and online webinars.
  • One-on-one assistance, including advisory services and basic budget and debt counseling.

We’re happy to talk with your employees about everything from budgeting and debt management to investments, retirement planning, Social Security and Medicare.

We will bring our Financial Wellness services to your employees, so they don’t have to seek out the services on their own.

Employees can better focus on their work if they’re not worried about their finances. And they may be more likely to talk about their financial stress in a confidential, one-on-one meeting with a financial counselor or planner.

A human resources administrator at a university recently said, “Employees are often private or embarrassed” about their financial stress, reported hrexecutive.com. “When someone asks you how you’re doing, you don’t say, ‘I’m almost bankrupt.’”

Find and hold onto good employees

We know many employers are having a tough time attracting and keeping good employees since the U.S. economy started bouncing back from the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact.

When an employer makes it easier for employees to feel more comfortable about their finances, that’s a potentially valuable employee benefit.
