A dollar bill is neither male nor female, but studies show that women and men have different experiences when it comes to money. Whether you’re married or single, female or male, join Everence stewardship consultants Rhoda Blough and Lyle Miller, as they explore some of these differences, including some of the particular obstacles women often face.

Congregational financial resources

Thursday, July 6
3:45-4:45 p.m., Room 2207
Adults

Marlene Kroeker and Rhoda Blough, Everence stewardship consultants

Transformation begins when we first understand ourselves. In this seminar, using Tommy Brown's book, “The Seven Money Types,” you will learn how you may be naturally geared to handle resources — hospitality, discipline, beauty, connection, endurance, humility or leadership. You will understand the strengths of your resource type, as well as the areas where you can grow. Through this time of conversation and reflection, you may find that you are finally happy with your "money-self."

Proposed agency repositioning for Everence

At MennoCon23, the MC USA Executive Board intends to request the Delegate Assembly's counsel and advice on a mutually supported proposal to reposition Everence and MHS Association from program agencies to program entities (ministry partners). If the feedback is positive, delegates will be asked to vote to provide approval to make the necessary revisions to the bylaws.
