What is some of your background?

I’m from Lititz, PA and went to Warwick High School. Currently, I’m a business administration major with a finance minor at Messiah University and graduating in December. I’ll be returning for a 5th year on the soccer team at Messiah, making up for our season that was cancelled in 2020. Also, I will be getting married in December!

What is your role at Everence?

Credit Union Functions Intern at Lancaster Office

What is your day to day like in your internship?

I’ve been working on projects for Youth Savings Week by working with advertising and creating content for social media as well as a youth to young adult incentive by meeting with Everence employees and doing research for strategy. Overall, no two days that are the same. I work along with Diana Voth and Caitlyn Laubach.

What have you enjoyed the most so far?

The people and the culture are great, which helped a lot in making it an easy transition. The Everence mission of doing work that is promoting faith and finances. Specifically at Lancaster, the fun social gatherings in the administration offices.

How did you find Everence?

In the fall, Everence employees spoke at Messiah and shared about the mission and company. Then in the spring, I was looking for summer internships and a professor recommended it to me.

What do you like to do outside of the internship?

Playing soccer and golfing are big parts and if not playing watching almost any sport.

What’s your favorite thing to do in your area?

I love getting coffee and walking around downtown Lititz. The market at the Wilbur and Dosie Dough are two of my favorite places to go.

Do you have advice for future interns at Everence?

Be open to what you want to get out of your internship. Ask good questions, the more everyone knows about you the more they can help.
