My hometown is Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. I’m a senior at Syracuse University in New York, majoring in applied mathematics and economics and will be graduating in December.

Impact Investing Intern at Goshen Headquarters
What is your day to day like in your internship?
My day consists of meetings, research, and projects with different people in my department with topics like proxy voting, bonds, and impact.
What have you enjoyed the most so far?
Learning market details through Bloomberg, mutual funds, ESG screening, and overall impact of what Everence is doing.
How did you find Everence?
I went to high school at Bethany and known of many people that worked at Everence from that. My host family from high school suggested applying too.
What do you like to do outside of the internship?
My favorite things are running marathons, playing pickleball or tennis, skydiving, and traveling.
What’s your favorite thing to do in your area?
I really like going for runs at the Goshen Pond and the Millrace.
Do you have advice for future interns at Everence?
Be ready to ask questions, open to making connection, and learning for others. A tip from my personal experience is to summarize what you learned into a way that you can teach others, because if you can teach others, you truly understand the knowledge.
